Gozamos: Hi, Nelly. What are you up to now?
Nelly Furtado: I am just having a little time off. This is my summer vacation.

Gozamos: I have always wanted to ask you how many languages you speak.
NF: English, Spanish and Portuguese as well and that’s about it. Some people think I speak Hindi but I actually only know a couple of songs of Hindi. I don’t actually speak it.

Last night Nelly Furtado did a special appearance at Ivete Sangalo’s concert in the DCU Center (Worcester, Massachussets), part of her US tour. They both collaborated on a duet called ‘Where it begins’ that they performed live for the first time yesterday, Video and photos below:

Tonight Nelly Furtado will be at the Orange Warsaw Festival. As most of you have heard there were rumours about Nelly Furtado singing ‘new songs‘ at this concert, well it’s confirmed!

Jenna Andrews, a canada’s upcoming artist,  gave an interview for the Calgary Herald, where it’s been mentioned our Nelly lots of times, but there is just one time that really matters, and i transcripted below:

“It was a dream come true, to say the least,” says Andrews. “I played him [Chris Smith] two songs. A song Nelly Furtado wrote for me and the song I wrote for my parents in my car. He left the room, came back in a minute, and said, ‘Welcome to Island/Def Jam’
